New vocalist!
Finally, after months of auditioning and perforce working on some instrumental tunes, we have reached home base. We welcome Mat Fohner as our new vocalist and are looking forward to integrate his fine lyrics and clean yet brutal vocals in our songs, working towards our first gigs. Update
Due to style incompatibilities Sworn Distance was forced to part ways with Tom on Vocals. Game Plan --> We are heavily investing time / funds in to recording our current tracks. When those recordings are complete and mastered we'll be posting them online and starting our search for a new vocalist. Audition tracks should be a great help. We'll try to keep everybody posted regularly on our progress.

Demo recordings
We are currently recording our five song demo, coming soon! The ETA has not been determined yet, for now we have five pilot tracks by Niels, three bass tracks, and two tracks with Orhan's guitars. That leaves us with some work on drums and vocals. Check back regularly or like us on Facebook to know more.

First News Post
So, it's about time I rob this News section of its cherry. Aside from actually forming the band a lot has been happening in the world of Sworn Distance. We are currently heavily entrenched in writing our material. Just about having finished our 5th track we'll be kicking off the 6th this coming rehearsal. Work on the Facebook pages and this website that you find yourself on has been moving along at a speedy tempo. For which I thank our Bass player Bart (Website Admin) [and our guitarist Niels for writing copy for the site, -Bart]. My shout-out goes to our friend Fredd for helping us with designing and illustrating our Band logo and emblem. Good news for you Fredd - we also provide cheese with all the wining we do. But thank you for a job well done.
